The first trailer for Avatar was released on the 21st Aug 2009. The trailer was around two minute's long and it gave the public its very first glimpse of the alien world of Pandora dreamed up by James Cameron. This trailer not only gave the public the first glimpse of the alien world it also gave people the first glimpse of the Na’vi people, these being the Pandora’s 10-foot-tall, blue-skinned natives.
